ABOUT US
Ivan Boulle Consulting is a boutique building code consultancy & certification firm. We aim to provide highly professional, efficient and streamlined building code advice and certification. We believe that our knowledge of the compliance aspect of the building codes and legislation is key to reducing risk for our clients. We have confidence in the practicalities and knowledge from our extensive experience in implementing building codes in NSW. Ivan Boulle Consulting is committed to delivering a high standard of service to all of our clients and the community.
Ivan Boulle is the Managing Director who holds accreditation at the highest level available in NSW (Building Surveyor - Unrestricted). He is a building surveyor with thirty years experience in both local government and the private sector. During this period Ivan has worked on a varied range of complex medium to large-scale developments, including those consisting of Performance Solutions. This experience has enabled Ivan to gain a diverse knowledge of how to apply the prescriptive and performance requirements of the Building Code of Australia.

Ivan is a qualified building surveyor and fire engineer, holds memberships with both the Australian Institute of Building Surveyors (AIBS) and Association of Accredited Certifiers (AAC).

Certification to buildings of all sizes and classifications (including those with Performance Solutions)

Undertaking all necessary inspections including applicable mandatory inspections

Liaising with Fire Engineers and Fire Rescue NSW.

Co-ordination of Strata Certification
BUILDING CODE CONSULTANCY
Assess architectural drawings against the DTS requirements of the BCA, Australian Standards, Codes and applicable legislation
Identify areas of non-compliance with the DTS provisions of the BCA and identify alternative, cost effective methods to achieve compliance
Provide advice of where a Performance Solution may be applicable
Liaise and attend meetings with the design team, including architects, engineers, fire engineers and relevant consultants
ESSENTIAL SERVICESÂ /Â AUDITS
Co-ordination and preparation of Annual Fire Safety Statements
Compliance and due diligence audits of existing buildings
Fire upgrade strategies for existing buildings
Negotiation with Council where Fire Orders have been issued
Ivan Boulle Consulting focuses on high quality developments of all building classifications including: high-rise mixed-use residential, luxury residential dwellings, commercial, retail and industrial buildings, motels, nursing homes, places of worship, pubs & clubs and childcare centres.
We have recently completed the recreational Sydney Indoor MX Dome which is the first and only of its kind in Australia.
